Twins birthed in processing plant car park
A WOMAN has given birth to twins in the car park of a US potato plant.
Katie Clay, aged 22, was on her way to hospital with her mother Karen, when she told her to pull over as she didn't think they would make it there on time.
Karen pulled into the parking lot of Webster Potato Company on Spud Alley in East Idaho and ran around to the passenger’s seat to assist with the birth, while Katie’s midwife, on her way to meet them, was also on speakerphone assisting. Both baby boys were safely delivered.
