Scottish potatoes in a big world

A TWO-DAY Scottish potato conference began today, taking the place of the annual event held at Perth Racecourse every January.

Prospects for future crops is the key focus, with presentations by Patrick Hughes and Cedric Porter examing exports and the effects of Covid-19 on the potato market and Keith Taylor providing a view from Western Australia at today's session.

A panel of experts and industry figures are available to answer questions and give their insights on the market generally.
