PotatoEurope Innovation Awards 2021 to go ahead

DESPITE the cancellation of the PotatoEurope event in September, show organisers have decided that the PotatoEurope Innovation Awards 2021 will still go ahead.

The PotatoEurope Netherlands outdoor exhibition, due to take place on September 1st and 2nd, was cancelled because of uncertainties surrounding the COVID situation.

A professional jury will deliver the Audience Award on September 1st, to whomever receives the most votes from three shortlisted companies.

"Because of the importance of innovativeness in the potato industry and with regards to the original event theme for PotatoEurope 2021, 'What's Now, What's New and What's the Future'... the professional jury will award the PotatoEurope Innovation Awards 2021," a statement by the organisers announced.

Open to companies that planned to exhibit at PotatoEurope 2021, innovative products and services have the opportunity to win one of three Innovation Awards presented by the professional jury: Gold, Silver or Bronze.
Out of a total of 32 participants, the jury selected three companies that they believe offer the most innovative product or service: Crop.zone, E Green Global (EGG) and HZPC.
Potato professionals worldwide now have the opportunity to determine which of these three innovations will receive the Audience Award by clicking here.
