Potatoes Town Hall meetings
A SERIES of online 'town hall' meetings will be staged throughout February by the UK's AHDB to give growers an opportunity to ask questions, meet members of its potatoes team and board, and hear about its current work and structure.
Each session will cover work relevant to different parts of the potato industry and is open to all levy payers, but will focus on the elements of work that benefits that particular part of the sector.
Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions beforehand or join a ‘virtual stage’ and speak directly with the team, with separate meetings covering seed potatoes, salads and earlies, processing crisps, processing fries, pre-pack sector, bag trade/fresh chipping, and merchants/buyers.
