Potato throwing quarrel: Man arrested
A POTATO-throwing battle commenced in Yakima, a city in Washington, USA, which ended in a man being arrested.
Police were called to a house after reports of a woman being locked out of her home, with the 21-year-old man throwing potatoes at her. They say the suspect saw the officers and hid behind the fence, before going into the house.
The female victim told the officers that the suspect was cursing and harassing her and then threw a potato at her, hitting a pillar as she was walking back to her shed.

But the man denied throwing potatoes at the woman and said it was she that began the potato-throwing.
