Potato growers' requests to be sought

GROWERS who triggered a formal ballot on the continuation of the UK's AHDB Horticulture statutory levy have begun the process of collating requests for a formal ballot on a statutory levy of AHDB Potato growers, with a view to handing the necessary number of completed requests to AHDB in the next few weeks.
Potato and other vegetable producers Peter Thorold and John Bratley (pictured), along with flower grower Simon Redden, are the organisers of the ballot.
