Newest additions unveiled

NEW varieities from IPM, Stet Potato Ltd, Germicopa UK and Danespo were demonstrated at this year's variety open day at Mill Farm, Caythorpe, near Grantham, Lincolnshire and are fully outlined in the November issue of Potato Review.

IPM introduced new additions Vanilla, Sensation, Buffalo and Commando. Vanilla, released in 2018, is an early maincrop pre-pack variety aimed at the premium end of supermarket,
Sensation was commercially released in 2018 while Buffalo and Commando are two additions to the company’s packing portfolio. 

A new crisping variety, currently with the working name SH C 1010, was amongst those demonstrated by Stet Potato Ltd.

The Fasty variety, added to the varieties list in 2018, along with Malou, a new table variety was one of the varieties demonstrated from Danespo.
