Low carbon agriculture

THE Low Carbon Agriculture Show online takes place next month on March 9th and 10th.

The event includes over 30 conference sessions on each renewable energy type, as well as 'environmental' sessions on policy, soil health, natural capital, carbon management, and headline speakers taking part in the 'Big Debate'. There will also be sessions on agri-tech and low emission vehicles and machinery.

Reaching net zero in farming is a cornerstone of the Agricultural Transition Plan and of Environmental Land Management (ELM) policy, and with many farmers on board with the NFU's ambition to reach net zero by 2040, speakers will debate the stepping stones needed to get there.
