New collaboration compiles case studies.

A COLLABORATION between the International Potato Center (CIP) and the CGIAR Gender Impact Platform is to compile case studies on efforts to integrate gender in breeding.

The information gathered will be compiled, structured, and shared globally to contribute to more effective and gender equitable breeding in the future.

Companies and growers who are involved in or familiar with a breeding program that has integrated gender into some aspect of the breeding process, or knows of somebody who is, are being urged to submit a brief summary before Friday (October 7th).

Summaries are to be reviewed by experts who will select 10 that will each be awarded a US $10,000 grant to complete a case study, which will be a journal-length publication authored by the implementing team.
