Innovators growers/inventors sought for engineer award
POTATO growers and innovators who have created or modified a piece of machinery or tech that improves profitability or sustainability on farm are being invited to apply for the LAMMA Young Engineer of 2022 award.
Entrants need to submit a video explaining the product, prototype or concept, which can either be fully manufactured, a prototype in development, a concept at initial development stage, or existing products that have been modified, providing it has substantially improved the efficiency, productivity and/or sustainability of the product.
Anyone aged 35 or under is invited to enter. Prizes on offer include a 96-piece combination socket set courtesy of Kramp. Closing date for entries is November 8th.
