Global awards for women in sector
INTERNATIONAL organisation Global Women Fresh has launched two new awards to celebrate the role of women working in the growth and supply of potatoes, carrots and other fresh produce.
The Woman of Impact Award is given to any woman who leads by example, lives with purpose and inspires others to go forward and achieve more in life.
The EmpowerHER Company Award is aimed at acknowledging a company a company that has pioneered a greater involvement of women in leadership roles during the year and is a means of facilitating the integration of women into companies. Examples include membership in the Corporate Board, promotions that lead to leadership positions and the development of training programs for women at the forefront.
