SIMA showcases international solutions for efficient, sustainable growing.

THIS year marks the centenary of SIMA, the international event held at Villepinte, France, which will display machinery for all applications within potato growing as part of its offering.

The international exhibition of technologies and solutions for efficient and sustainable agriculture now brings together 1,800 companies from 42 countries and has 15 exhibition sectors.

Since its creation, the show has aimed to be the showcase for the latest technological innovations within the agricultural world. In 97 years, SIMA has rewarded more than 1,200 innovations through the SIMA Innovations Awards.

Originally known as Salon de la machine Agricole, the show first opened its doors in 1922, at the Grand Palais on the Champs-Élysées. At that time, there were already more than 300 exhibitors.

The show has relocated twice since then, and the next event, which will be held from November 6th to 10th, will be its first at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre, which will enable it to continue to expand its exhibits and audience.

A range of row crops products will be on display, for all applications and the SIMA Innovation Awards will be back again. This edition will also host SIMA TECH, a space to find out all about the agriculture of tomorrow. There will be opportunities to schedule qualified business meetings with exhibitors in advance of the five-day show.

Further details of the show are available on our events page here.
