Breeding houses collaborate to exhibit and unveil their newest offerings

TWO variety open days at Mill Farm, Caythorpe near Grantham, Lincolnshire, on September 11^th and 12^th provided an opportunity to view tubers and foliage just prior to desiccation and enabled some detailed agronomic and technical discussions to take place.

Tim and Jo Ward of GR Ward & Sons hosted the open days and breeding station trials which attracted a good attendance, in line with previous seasons, despite the obvious difficulties associated with COVID-19.

Multiple breeding houses collaborated to exhibit, so visitors were able to gain significant and geographically relevant information over the two days.
