45% now LEAF certified

NEARLY half (45%) of UK veg and fruit is now LEAF Marque certified, according to the latest Global Impacts Report from LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming). 

The LEAF Marque Spotlight Week takes place from March 22nd to 26th, featuring five one-hour webinars from growers and industry experts.

Sustainability, biodiversity, nature-friendly farming, the impact of policy changes on climate-positive farming and how LEAF Marque is leveraging support for more nature-based farming will be spotlighted, along with LEAF's long-term vision as it celebrates its 30-year anniversary. 

Tiptoe Farm (pictured) based in North Northumberland on the River Till is one of the LEAF demonstration Farms. The River Till, previously a Site of Special Scientific Interest, is now also designated a Special Area of Conservation. Its Heritage potatoes that are sold directly to chefs, mail order, and small retail outlets.
