After seven years, Chris Claridge steps down.

THE PNZ (Potatoes New Zealand) CEO, Chris Claridge, has vacated his position, having tendered his resignation last month.

PNZ independent board member Jon Davison will be the interim CEO until a permanent replacement is found.

Jon is an experienced CE and has extensive knowledge of the New Zealand potato industry, including growing and processing.

Chris had been in the role for a total of seven years, since 2015. In his time with the industry association, he brought about a a shift towards spending levy money on research and development.
