David says association will rise to current challenges
THE Agricultural Engineers Association has appointed David Withers, Managing Director of ISEKI UK & Ireland, to serve as its President.
David has been an active member of the AEA for many years, serving on the Outdoor Power Equipment Council since 2000 and this is his second term as a Board member.
He said: “New technologies are driving change at ever greater pace and with possible post-Brexit standards’ divergence, the supply chain crisis we face, and now hanging over everything, the war in Ukraine, the AEA has never been more important to its members than right now”
Ruth Bailey, CEO and Director General of the AEA said: “These are challenging times, but not without opportunity and we are delighted to have David with us as our next President. David worked closely with our team during the recent BAGMA acquisition and already has good working relationships at all levels in the AEA. We all look forward to working with him over the coming year.”
