New tool launched

FERA, which offers crop health services, resources, testing facilities, has recently launched LAND360, its new land assessment service designed  to measure, monitor and assess natural capital.

Combining data and science, LAND360 measures and maps existing land habitat features and models biodiversity offerings to help farmers, landowners and managers make informed land use decisions.

Fera Strategic Business Development Manager, Guy Thallon, said: “With the introduction of the environmental land management scheme (ELMs) and the drive to manage land in a way that recognises ‘public money for public good’, it’s clear that landowners need to understand the extent of the natural capital they have.”
