Hartpury’s teaching quality pegged as best in South West and sixth in UK.

HARTPURY University, which offers agricultural courses to students, has been ranked sixth in the UK and first in the South West for teaching quality, according to The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide for 2023.

It has also been named fourth in the UK for student experience in addition to climbing seven places overall in the UK-wide league table.

The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide includes the definitive rankings of 132 British universities, based on their performance in areas for undergraduates including quality of teaching, student satisfaction and graduate career prospects.

Hartpury University is among the UK’s leading specialist education providers offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in agriculture, as well as postgraduate research and PhD qualifications.

Located in Gloucestershire, its 360-hectare campus is home to more than 2,000 university students, alongside 2,000 college level students. It recently opened a new Agri-Tech Centre and students have access to a commercial farm.
