Free potatoes in RDO field
Minnesota (US) farm team R.D. Offutt Park Rapids is inviting community members to an “all-you-can-dig party” at the seventh annual Potato Field Days.
From October 1st to 3rd, from sunrise until sunset, those interested can bring potato forks and buckets to an RDO field west of Park Rapids and dig to their heart’s content, according to a news release.
Park Rapids Farm Manager Luke Warmbold said: “For many residents in our community, the annual potato field day has become a tradition,” Warmbold said. “We love being able to share a little of what we do in farming and stay connected with our friends, neighbors and local residents at this event.”
