Machinery, technology and techniques that can help potato growers to be demonstrated at show

NEW machinery, technology and techniques that can help potato growers will be showcased at the Cereals event later this month. 

There will be a range of static and moving demonstrations of tractors, sprayers, combines, drills, and technical innovations at the event which will be held near Duxford, Cambridgeshire on June 8th and 9th. 

A fully autonomous, solar-powered robot capable of precision drilling and weeding will be in action in the Robotics, Automation and Drone demo area, the brainchild of two Danish farmers which uses GPS to record exactly where it places each seed. The AgXeed AgBot 2.055W4 will have its first public showing and the AXeed AgBot 5.115T2 will also be demonstrated.

Sencrop, known for its smart local weather stations, has joined forces with the Information System for Integrated Plant production (ISIP) to provide bespoke disease forecasting for farmers, based on pooled and individual data.
