Event discusses practices for growers and suppliers
WORLD Water Day takes place on March 22nd (visit our events page here for full details) and agricultural tyre manufacturer BKT is inviting those in the potato industry to take part in a discussion event the week before to look at best usage within growing and the supply chain.
It is hosting "Water Use”, the fifth episode of its Global Trends online events, on Tuesday, March 15th at 3 pm. (CET).
The episode will be dedicated to the importance of water use in agriculture, focusing on how the industry can manage the resource more efficiently.
Guest speakers will include:
• Nicholas Brozović, Director of Policy for the University of Nebraska's Water for Food Global Institute
• Zac Gazit, CEO of Alvátech
• Asad Sarwar Qureshi, Senior Scientist in Irrigation and Water Management at the International Centre for Biosaline Agriculture
• Adriano Battilani, General Secretary of Irrigants d’Europe
