App facilitates parts and service requests

NETHERLANDS company Manter, which manufactures high capacity automatic industrial packaging machines for potatoes, vegetables & fruit, is launching the Service & Parts App to help to make machine management and maintenance easy.

The new app makes managing and requesting (spare) parts easier as it can be done using a mobile phone or tablet. The app is developed in close collaboration with Manter dealers.

Service Engineer at Manter, Burghard van Bekkem, said: “We noticed a great demand for a solution on ordering parts for the weighing and packaging machines. The paper parts manual is often not at hand, or it’s not entirely clear which part it concerns. That won’t be any problem with our new app, just go to the 3D model of your machine and look it up. After you find the right part, a price request for the relevant part is sent at the touch of a button.”

The app is free to download from the App Store (IOS) and Play Store (Android). All parts are viewable and local dealers will be able to provide a quote, so costs can be reviewed prior to proceeding with a purchase."
