Agri-services group makes sustainability pledge

AGRI-services group Origin Enterprises plc has published its annual report and accounts for the year ended July 31st 2021.
Origin has also published its inaugural Sustainability Report, ‘Nurturing Growth’, which sets out the Company’s sustainability strategy and commitment to strong environmental, social and governance (ESG) business practices. See for a copy of the report.
Sean Coyle, Origin’s CEO, said: “‘Nurturing Growth’ recognises the deep interdependence between environmental and social issues and sets out a framework which will allow us shape a more sustainable future through agronomy and amenity solutions.
"We are embedding sustainability and target-setting across our Group operations, with an initial focus on establishing our emissions baseline and setting target reductions, through a collaborative and science-based approach. In 2020, we became a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact and are committed to making its core principles an integral part of our strategy, culture and day-to-day operations. 
"Supported by a robust governance framework, we will continue to advance our sustainability ambitions across the Group and work with our stakeholders to deliver sustainable value for all.”
