Joint project explores autonomous potato planting

CULTIVATION machinery manufacturer Dewulf and Agrointelli, which manufactures the autonomous agricultural robot ROBOTTI, have announced that they will be working together to explore the benefits of using autonomous machines in potato cultivation.

The two companies have a shared vision of broadening possibilities for potato growers and looking at new solutions for more sustainable, efficient, and robust production methods and technologies and are to undertake a joint effort towards offering automated operations with a high level of data acquisition and site-specific optimisation.

Their first project will see the combination of the autonomous Robotti platform with a four-row Miedema CP 42 cup planter.
