BP2023

Stands almost sold out at BP2023

WITH record exhibitor bookings at this year's British Potato show, which returns to Harrogate on November 22nd and 23rd, organisers are urging companies and organisations to get in touch if they haven't already booked - only a few stands are now remaining.

Despite available stand area increasing by 11%, six months ahead of the show few stands now remain available - at the time of writing, just one in Hall 1 and a handful across Hall 2 and outdoors.

Almost all 2021 exhibitors have rebooked and most prevented from attending last time by Covid-19 travel restrictions are also returning. Meanwhile, regulars will also be joined by a record number of newcomers.

In keeping with the show’s whole supply chain ethos, the surge in new interest comes from all potato sectors. For example, on potato agronomy, Engage Crop Solutions will be showcasing its Potato Resilience Programme addressing a range of issues including water and nutrient stress.

New regime

The key calendar date for all those operating in or supplying to the British potato industry, will have a new owner/organiser for its this year.

Warners Group Publications, which is the owner and publisher of Potato Review magazine and organises the biennial NPI (National Potato Industry) awards, has taken up the reins of the popular trade show, in preparation for Steve Wellbeloved stepping down next year.

Warners, whose head office is in Bourne, Lincolnshire, has been a media partner of the show at Yorkshire Event Centre, Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, for many years.

Show offering

BP2023 features trade stands, information hubs and talks and attracts exhibitors and visitors from all sectors of the potato industry. The last one took place in November 2021. The NPI Awards, launched in 2019, are held on the first night of the show.

Exhibitors cover all kinds of issues for growers and suppliers - from the soil right through to processing and retail. Despite taking place amidst COVID-19 restrictions, and uncertainty over Brexit’s implementation, the 2021 event surpassed all expectations.

Many BP2023 exhibitors offer an opportunity to gain more information and get in touch with them in advance of the show. As the event approaches, we will keep this page updated with URLs to help you plan.

BP2023 will take place on November 22nd and 23rd at place at Yorkshire Event Centre. Exhibition stands can now be booked – visit www.bp2023.info for more details.
